Itinerary for 6 days from Agadir to Zagora desert
Day 1: Agadir – Fort Bou Jerif :
We will begin our journey around Morocco from your hotel in Agadir; Follow the shoreline to the south, where fishermen live in troglodyte shelters built into cliffs. We will traverse the Souss-Massa nature reserve, and pass through the villages of Massa and Tassilla. We will head up towards the Mediterranean to reach Mirlefte, then to Sidi Ifni, where we will hug the Atlas spit. Arrival in Fort Bou Jerif in the late afternoon. Dinner and a night spent there.
Day 2 : Fort Bou-Jerif – Tafraoute:
In the morning, we depart from the fort in the direction of Guelmim, the entrance to the Moroccan Western Sahara desert. From there, we travel to Amtoudi and its spring, a breathtaking location. To get there, we take new paths through the Anti-Atlas foothills, where Oasis and tiny Berber villages are surrounded by desert mountains. You will reach the peak by traveling to Tafraoute in the evening. Tafraoute is a village situated in the middle of a cirque made up of massive blocks of pink granite that are fired in the setting sun into stunning hues of pink, ochre, and purple. Tafraoute is 1200 meters above sea level. Visit the village. Dinner and night in the hotel Almond Trees 4.
Day 3 : Tafraoute – Tata:
Early in the morning, head toward the desert. As you travel through the Ait Mensour Valley, which is home to a million palm trees, the surrounding area gradually dries out and loses its lushness. Then a typical lunch is followed by the descent towards Tata. Dinner and night in a Berber village.
Day 4 : Tata – M’ Hamid:
Early departure for a long stage on a road through the desert where the landscape leaves open-mouthed the most warned, interrupted with oasis to quench thirst. Arrival in M’hamid, door of the desert, there where the road and the civilization, leave place with the nature. This night, you will be served by the blue men of the desert, you will dance in the sound of the Tam-tam and you will sleep under tent or under the stars.
Day 5 : M’ Hamid – Taliouin :
A peaceful awakening before a desert breakfast. You proceed through the Drâa Valley with its countless palm trees, pass through Zagora with its renowned “Tombouctou 52 Days” panel, and then travel through Tazenakht, a city well-known for its Berber carpet preparations.Then the arrival at Taliouine to have Dinner and spend the night.
Day 6 : Taliouin – Agadir :
Last day traveling on a comfortable vehicle rather tan rolling through a vast desert to get to Taroudant. Saadian dynasty used Taroudant as their regional capital before enclosing it with its bulwarks with crenellations and its gardens of olive trees and palm trees; Taroudant is often referred to as “The Little Marrakech.” After lunch, we continue traveling to Agadir. Transfer to the airport or return to your hotel for a well-earned rest. End of our Services.
