Language

Moroccan Arabic (Darija) is the most widely spoken language; however, there are three Amazigh Berber languages as well. Tarifit is spoken in the northern Rif. Tamazight can be found in the Middle Atlas and the Eastern High Atlas, and Tashlhyt is spoken in the Western High Atlas, the Sous Valley, and the Anti-atlas. It is worth noting that French is widely spoken in Morocco, particularly among educated Moroccans.
