Morocco Fossil tours, Minerals hunting start from Ouarzazate (8days):
Day 1 :Arrival to Ouarzazate airport transfer to hotel.
The trip depends on your arrival, so if you get there early, we can start our tour; otherwise, we’ll pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.
Day 2 :Ouarzazate-Merzouga( fossils and minerals tours)
After breakfast, we will start our Morocco Tours Fossils and Minerals of Ouarzazate (8 days).
At 8 o’clock, our driver will pick you up and take the road to Skoura. Afterwards, take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Kelaa M’Gouna to reach Dades Valley. Lunch in Todra canyon. Then back to the main road to join the city of fossilized marble, Erfoud. Afterwards, head to Merzouga for the night in a charming hotel.
Day 3 : Merzouga-Merzouga
After the morning meal, departure to the Erg Chebbi. Visit the galena mine of Mfis.Then drive you to where the Orthoceras and Ammonites lay out. In Erfoud, we will visit the marble factory before we return to Merzouga, which is surrounded by an open quarry of marble and Crinoids fossils. It is possible to do a tour on camels to see the sunset on the dunes. Lodging and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 :Taouz-Ouzina
Departure early in the morning to the south of Erg Chebbi, arrival at the mine of Dinosaur teeth and bones in Ebagaa; then we will go to Taouz to visit the antique city of Ouafilal and the desert painting. After lunch we will take the mines track and visit the Filon 12 mines producing iron,vanidit barite, galena. Lodging and dinner at the hotel.
Day 5 : Ouzina-Ouzina ( fossil and mineral trips)
Trilobite research is being conducted all along the Algerian border while the sun is out, and if we have enough time, we may even travel to another Jurassic region. Accommodations and meals at the M’harch Oasis Auberge.
Day 6 : Ouzina-Alnif
After breakfast, we travel to Alnif through the mountain Djbel Issimour, also known as the mountain of the trilobites. We’ll look for Phacops trilobites at two different locations. Lodging and dinner in the hotel meteorites.
Day 7 : Alnif-Tazarine -Agdz-OuarzazateMorocco fossil trips
Following breakfast, we will travel the Tazzarine Road to a sizable Orthoceras fossil mine before ascending the path to an ancient prehistoric drawing of Ait Ouazik. Dinner and lodging at the riad in Ouarzazate.
Day 8 : OuarzazateMorocco fossil trips
Following your flight schedule, you will have a refreshing breakfast in the morning before we transfer you to the airport.
