Desert tours from Marrakech:

Day 1st Desert tours from Marrakech:  Marrakesh – Ait Ben Haddou –Ouarzazate – Gorge Dades

Our first meeting will be held in the morning at your riad/hotel in Marrakesh. Your driver picks you up and explains to you the desert tour from Marrakesh.

Afterwards we will head to Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas Mountain, and Tizi n-Tichka path.Before arriving at Ouarzazate we will Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah the UNESCO World Heritage Site which includes spectacular architecture.  At this Kasbah many movies have been filmed e, such as Alexander 2004, Babel 2006, and the Last Temptation of Christ 1988. 

After having lunch, we will enjoy visiting the historical and architectural memorials of Taourirt Kasbah. Then you will visit the Atlas Studios in Quarzazate, which is one of the largest movie studios in the world.  After that, we will leave Ouarzazate toward Dades Gorge,  to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Skoura and the Valley of Roses.  We will also pass by Kelaat M’Gouna and Boumalane Dades.  Overnight in Dades.

Day 2nd in Desert tours from Marrakech:  Gorge Dades – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga

After the charm of Boumalene Dades we will take the road to Merzouga and explore its magical beauty, passing by “Tinghir”to visit Todra Gorges where the cliffs are as high as 600m and only 10m apart. We will also pass through many different Berber villages, such as Tinjdad, Malaab, Touroug, Erfoud and Rissani.

We will break for lunch before continuing the drive to Merzouga where you will put your luggage in the hotel.  Then a professional camel man will take you by camel to the middle of the sand dunes where you will enjoy a wonderful night in Berber tents with fire, drums, and a fantastic ambience with the ‘blue people’ of Morocco.

Day 3rd in Desert tours from Marrakech:  Merzouga – Ouarzazate 

The camel man will wake you up early to ascend the sand dunes to see the beautiful sunrise, and take some pictures. Then we’ll ride camels back to the village. After breakfast we continue on our journey to Quarzazate, which is nicknamed the ”Door of the desert”.  Afterwards, we will pass through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkoub and Daraa Valley.  Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 4th in Desert tours from Marrakech:  Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountain – Marrakesh 

After breakfast in Ouarzazate our destination will be direct to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka again.
