You will begin your tour of Agadir city after breakfast at your hotel. You can be as active or as relaxed as you like thanks to the area’s beautiful beach and seaside, souks, historical kasbah, and numerous comfortable cafes. After that, we continue on our journey to Essaouira, a delightfully laid-back coastal fishing town where you can discover remnants of Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish, and French past in the charming medina and well-preserved architecture; where we walk through the serene squares, browse artisan shops and galleries, and observe the handicrafts of the ’tuya’ wood found only in Morocco or head down to the port to check out the day’s catch.
Day 2: Essaouira – Marrakech
Leave for Marrakech along the beautiful inland route that passes through a forest of Argan trees that are unique to this part of the world and sometimes contain goats. Along this calm and peaceful drive, make stops at cooperatives producing Argan oil. Overnight in Marrakesh.
Day 3: Exploring- Marrakech
After breakfast in the Riad , you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadien tombs; the Palaces of El Bahia and El Badii and the Ben Youssef Coranique School. After that we Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to see the gardens of Majorelle, Menara and the Koutoubia tower. Then, in the evening, you can enjoy a quiet and entertaining walk around the ‘Square Jemaa El Fna’, a place full of magicians, storytellers, snake charmers, and food sellers. Overnight in a hotel or riad.
Day4: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes and Fez
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Casablanca city, where you’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque and experience the coastal seaside views. Afterwards, we’ll leave for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you’ll see the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah before checking into your Riad at the heart of Medina. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.
Day 5: Fes – Azrou – Middelt – Rich – Imilchil
After breakfast, we’ll set out for Middelt via Ifrane and Azrou, which is covered in a cedar forest and home to wild monkeys. So, after taking some lovely pictures with them, we’ll have lunch at Zaida or Midelte. Then we travel to Ziz Valley via the Atlas Mountains and take in the Midelte scenery. Then, we move on to Errich city while discovering some Berber tribes that are still present there despite the harsh weather. We arrive in Imilchil in the late afternoon, and you then check into your hotel, the Auberge Tislit, which is located by the lovely Tislit Lake.
Day 6: Exploring Fez
You will spend your entire day in Fez with an organized tour guide, learning about the city’s medina and renowned souks. Next, you will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments in Fes. Additionally, your tour will take you to a tannery and a ceramic cooperative where you can see authentic Moroccan crafts being made.
Day 7: Imilchil – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga
After having breakfast, we will depart from Imilchil for the highest and narrowest cliffs in Morocco, the Todgha Gorges. Lunch will be provided beneath the gorges’ towering red cliffs, which provide sweeping views of the valley and the ancient Berber villages made of mud. After that, we continue on to Erfoud and Rissani, we’ll travel through the wide, empty black desert to the village of Merzouga, where we’ll be greeted with a glass of mint.Following that, a camel ride to the camp. Overnight in a Berber tent.
Day 8: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben haddou
We will camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga after taking sunrise photos and eating breakfast. On our way, you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes—changing with the light as the day progresses. After arriving late in the morning back in Merzouga and showering in the hotel, we’ll leave for Rissani – once Sijilmassa – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling family. With most of the women veiled and the men hooded, this is a very traditional Moroccan town. We’ll continue driving towards Agdez, via Alnif and Tazarine, with lunch in N’Koub before we get to the fascinating Draa Valley at the edge of the Atlas Mountains, and through hundreds of Berber Kasbahs. Dinner and accommodation in Ait Ben-haddou.
Day 9 : Ait Ben-haddou – Taliouine – Taroudant
Depart Ait ben-haddou for Taroudant, descending towards Tazenakht, an important centre for carpet weaving. We will be now in saffron country, stop in Taliouine and visit the saffron museum, or visit the saffron harvest festival in October (if your presence time there coincides with it). Then continue on to Taroudant. Overnight in Taroudant.
Day 10 : Taroudant – Agadir
You’ll head straightly to the airport for your departure after having a refreshing breakfast.
