Day 1: Marrakech, Tizi N’tichka, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate.
5 Days Morocco desert tours via Zagora and Erg Chebbi :
When you show up in Marrakech, the guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your Riad/Hotel. We leave Marrakech at 8 a.m to Ouarzazate via the Tizi N-tichka pass, which is located in the High Atlas Mountains and reach an altitude of 2260 m above sea level, the North Africa’s highest major mountain pass. We continue to Ait Benhaddou, which has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and has been an attractive destination for many films including Gladiator (2000), The Mummy (1999), and Babel (2006). Then we drive straight to Ouarzazate, where we will visit Atlas Studio and the Kasbah of Taourirt.Overnight at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate, Agadez, Valley of Dara, andZagora.
After breakfast, we will travel to Zagora via Daraa Valley, Morocco’s longest river. Â We will have the opportunity to see beautiful Kasbahs and Berber villages along the river. Following that, we will continue to Zagora and stop at a panoramic view point to take beautiful pictures of palm trees. We will spend the night in Zagora at a hotel.
Day 3 : Zagora, Alnif, Oasis Tafilalet and Erg Chebbi-Merzouga.
The trip will begin at 8 a.m, passing through Daraa Valley, N’kob, and Tazarine, which is well-known for its henna products. Then we continue to Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s Alaouite Dynasty. Then we proceed to Sahara, where camel-men await us for a real adventure of riding camels in the middle of sand dunes and taking beautiful sunset photographs.
Day4: Erg Chebbi Tour, Nomads and Merzouga.
After photographing the sunrise and eating breakfast, our tour will begin around Erg Chebbi Dunes, where we will discover a new nature, nomad lifestyle, and meet local people who are still living in tents, and we will enjoy drinking tea with them and listening to Gnaoua music before returning to the hotel to relax.
Day5: Merzouga, Erfoud, Galaat M’gouna, Dades and Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will travel from Merzouga to Marrakech via Erfoud, which is famous for its fossils. Following that, we drive to Kalaat M’gouna, passing through oasis palms, Berber villages, and making a brief stop at Todra Gorges. Kalaat M’gouna is famous for its ‘Rose valley’(Each April and May the valley is flooded with local women picking roses to be shipped off to factories in nearby Kalaat. Here they are turned into everything from shampoo to hand creams).
